Adam Fu - Pier 17, NYC (2022)
Artist statement: These past couple of years have been so challenging, from losing my mother to a stroke, multiple friends suffering overdoses of Fentanyl and the general darkness that the pandemic has put on us all. Being able to express my pain and suffering through art has always been a cherished outlet for me. I am so grateful for the opportunity year after year to be involved with You Are Not Alone Murals and I hope to always be on the team. My 2022 mural painted live at Pier 17 is a statement of how we are all linked together through these hardships. We are all links in a gigantic chain and as we stay together we are that much stronger for it.
