Here, attendees were invited to write personalized messages of hope and support, to send and share with their loved ones.
In 2023, we proudly returned to The Seaport in NYC for a powerful multi-artist mural event promoting mental health awareness. We extend a heartfelt thank you to Howard Hughes Corporation and The Seaport for their unwavering support in making this impactful project a reality.
For Mental Health Awareness Month, YANAM and local CT muralist Brian Kaspr were invited to create a massive two-story mural at 1120 Boston Post Road. This is our largest mural to date at 38’ high and more than 120’ wide. It took 2 days, 25 gallons of paint, 2 lifts, and 4 painters.
You Are Not Alone Murals wants to spread the message beyond the neighborhoods where murals can be found. So we have teamed up with Priority Bicycles and MOO for Priority Delivers, a multi-part activation in various bustling areas of the city which entails the surprise distribution via bicycle of postcards featuring art with the phrase “You Are Not Alone.”
This was our first multi-artist large scale installation. Eight participating artists covered 96ft of wall in two days in 90+ degree weather in July. The Seaport is such a perfect place for these murals since it provides a unique intersection of different neighborhoods, locals, commuters and tourists.
